Accessibility statement
April 21, 2026
1. Our commitment
SellixNet MB is committed to making the Cooqly marketplace accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We design and build in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and applicable Lithuanian transposition rules.
2. What is accessible
The following areas of the Platform are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA:
- Browsing meals and chefs, including filters and search.
- Sign-up, sign-in, and account management flows.
- Placing, tracking, rating and reporting orders.
- Legal and support content (Privacy, Terms, Cookies, Accessibility, Help).
- Checkout, confirmation, and order history pages.
Where technically possible we provide:
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) and skip-to-main-content links.
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images and icons.
- Color contrast that meets AA on primary UI.
- Form labels, error messages, and ARIA where appropriate.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion.
3. Known limitations
Some user-generated content — including chef photos, menu descriptions, and live stream video — may not always carry alternative text or captions, because it is produced by independent chefs. We provide chefs with guidance and tooling to improve this, and we continue to work on:
- Live captions for chef streams.
- Automated alt-text hints for chef-uploaded meal photos.
- Screen reader announcements for live order state changes.
If you find a page or feature that is not accessible to you, we want to hear about it.
4. Contact & feedback
Please email support@cheffys.eu with:
- The page URL where you experienced the problem.
- The device, operating system, browser, and any assistive technology you use.
- A short description of what went wrong.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 working days and to resolve blocking issues within 30 days where technically possible.
5. Enforcement & regulator
If we do not respond to your accessibility request or you are not satisfied with the response, you can escalate to the relevant national authority. In Lithuania, the competent body for the European Accessibility Act is the Ministry of Social Security and Labour (Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministerija) and the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba).
6. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared by internal review against WCAG 2.1 AA. The next formal review is scheduled 12 months after the last-updated date above, or sooner if we ship a major redesign.
